Invitations by Melita is a specialist invitation store located in Canberra. We are dedicated to providing you with great service. We are particularly well known for our extensive range of wedding invitations.

To this end, we opened a new, separate, store in September 2008 at Shop 4, 196 Gladstone Street, Fyshwick. (Prior to September 2008, we were located within the Fyshwick Newsagency).

Melita loves assisting brides and grooms to design their perfect wedding invitation, order of service, placecards, bonbonierre, menus, table placement chart, and thank you cards.

We also have a large range of guest books, photo albums, embellishments, ribbons, bonbonierre boxes and bags.

How can we help you?

1. Would you like to make the invitations yourself, with the support of free lessons in how to print and assemble your chosen design, and complimentary use of a guillotine (that you are welcome to take home for the weekend)?

YES, we would love to help. You can save up to 75% by printing and making the invitations yourself. You don't need to be crafty.

2. Would you like us to print and cut the printed pieces for you, leaving you to assemble the invitations, with free lessons, of course?

YES, we would love to help. We can print in ANY non-metallic colour. This takes away the worry of printing and cutting the printed pieces. Many of our brides enjoy this service.

3. Would you like us to take care of printing and assembling the invitations, leaving you with nothing to do, but address the envelopes and pop the completed invites in the mail?

YES, we would love to help. This is our personalised service for busy couples, and couples who just don't want to make the invites themselves but still want the handmade, personalised touch of bespoke wedding invitations. 

You see, we want to work with you, to give you the service that you want. You don't need to be "crafty" to make or design invitations. We will help you to achieve gorgeous invites that you can be proud of. These three different levels of service also apply to placecards, bonbonierres, Order of Service covers, Thank you cards, Table Placement Charts, & anything else you would like assistance with.

We have a new range of over 400 products, perfect for your ink jet printer (because that's what most of us have at home). The new ink jet range is perfect for those couples wanting to do quick, simple, yet stylish invites.

Two elegant wishing wells are available for hire. We also have a selection of inexpensive bonbonierre, photo frames and wedding bubbles.
